Fun with typography. Utilizing non-manipulated letters and characters from the alphabet a variety of different animals were created and composed into fun illustrations. These animals have also provided inspiration for a children’s book concept that will be available at the end of the summer. The typeface represented here is Aharoni.

Maria’s Comida

Maria’s Comida is a Mexican style restaurant in Hamtramck. The restaurant has a great tex-mex menu and a home-like atmosphere. The logo rests on a large sun that immediately reminds the viewer of the hot climate of Mexico. The Logo is balanced with a SanSarif type face and warped Sarif text. The red and yellow are a perfect color combination that accented with black in the logo and green on the menus.

The Moral Drug

The Moral Drug is a board game that pokes fun at the pharmaceutical industry. Utilizing fun illustrations and bright colors the game can be played by the whole family. The game forces the players to choose between what is morally right or making the most money. The logo represents the game in its medical related humor.

The first in a series of ads for Dunkin’ Donuts, this ad pushes the idea that a picture is worth a thousand words. The only text on the page can be located at the top right corner with the Dunkin’ logo. This ad has been digitally enhanced to add the DD logo onto the child’s cup. The first ad in this series shows that even a baby can find a delicious treat at Dunkin’.

LTU Admissions Email Marketing

As a part of communicating with perspective students engaging emails are generated. Not only was the content for each message written, but also the layout, HTML programming, and design were all created to maintain the brand guidelines of Lawrence Technological University. The emails coordinate with a variety of printed material as well as the ltu.edu website upcoming events pages.

Each email, once it has been composed, is sent out utilizing a content management system. Each message has a specific purpose and a call to action is always used in the subject to boost the number of open and read emails. Students are constantly bombarded with emails from a variety of universities so it can be a challenge to create a message that will be opened.

World Climate Center

A brand for the World Climate Center. The WCC campaign is a conceptual idea to improve the city of Detroit by converting the train station into an educational climate observatory. Each of the floors of the WCC represents one of the worlds climates. Utilizing some of the worlds leading technology to create exact replicas of the worlds climates. The building is able to artificially create precipitation including rain and snow. The logo is created by a set of parenthesis that resemble the shape of the globe. The letters W and C can be seen within the parenthesis colored in blue with the shape of the continents. The logo enforces the scientifically advanced technology utilized within the World Climate Center.

Foursquare Posters
